If the emergency you are experiencing is excessive, uncontrolled bleeding, or swelling which is preventing you from breathing, call 9-1-1 or go to a hospital.

If you are having a dental emergency, a tooth ache, or swelling of the mouth or gums I can often see you right away.  An x-ray and a limited focus exam will be needed to diagnose the cause of your emergency.  I will present to you the appropriate options to treat your tooth or gum pain and can in many cases begin treatment immediately.  I also have a network of dental specialists (oral surgeons, periodontists, and endodontists) when needed.

Acute tooth pain which is caused by cold, hot, or sweet and goes away quickly and does not linger can often be treated without root canals or extensive procedures.  A thorough evaluation will help determine the preferred treatment for you.
